Brisbane Private Hospital has unveiled the future of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery with two new state-of-the-art operating theatres.
Brisbane Private Hospital unveiled the future of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery with the opening of two new state-of-the-art operating theatres. The theatre expansion has reinforced the hospital as a premier surgical facility and is further supporting the growing need for patient care for the community in Brisbane.
The two new operating theatres have increased the total number of theatres at Brisbane Private to seventeen, allowing for much needed improved capacity and reduced wait times for surgery across the region.
Brisbane Private Hospital GM, Matt Tallis said “Our theatre expansion forms part of a long-term plan for increasing surgical services here at Brisbane Private. With world class Orthopedic surgeons and Neurosurgeons choosing to be onsite with us, we are investing in our surgical capabilities, with new robotic technology, state of the art equipment and first in the state theatre fit outs.’
The new theatres are installed with the latest version of Stryker iSuite technology, the first of its kind in Queensland, combining equipment and software that transforms the traditional operating room into a modern, state-of-the-art surgical environment, including ‘the latest Camera Platform, designed to improve visualisation of critical anatomy’* for surgery.
The theatre expansion is supported by world class doctors, dedicated wards and an Intensive care unit and will complement the recent technological and robotic investments at Brisbane Private for Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics surgeries.
